Two further volumes originally released on VHS and now combined onto one DVD.

Shot by the major film studios from the 1930s to the 1960s, these railway scenes are unique having never been seen before.

Volume 3

Volume 3 features out-takes from the classic feature film Brief Encounter, filmed at night in 1945, various “takes” of the classic LMS local service arriving at Carnforth as well as express runbys.  Out-takes from The 39 Steps are also featured showing LNER trains at Edinburgh Waverley in 1935 and from the 1958 re-make featuring action at Waverley as well as on the Forth Railway Bridge (in colour).  Other highlights include: GWR arrivals and departures at Paddington (1937 & 1954) Golant Halt, the Looe branch (1954), superb runbys on the Oban line in Scotland (1948) plus the Southern at Charing Cross (c 1935) a 'guard's view of a departure from Edinburgh Waverley in colour (1958) and even some magnificent shots taken on the long-since closed Longmoor Military Railway (1960).

Volume 4
