Originally released on VHS tape, Tracks contains a series of outtakes (unused footage) taken from the Video 125 library. A total of 67 tracks have been chosen for their stereosoundtracks, so listen with headphones to get the full effect.
From day two, (1985 onwards) Video 125 has been recording in broadcast quality stereo sound. Here you can enjoy the sounds of first generation diesels when they were the workhorses of British Railways.
There are passenger trains, freight, engineering, (classes 33, 37, 47, 50, 59, 73), DMUs, InterCity HSTs, electric locos, steam and even the nostalgic sound of a tube train. There are 67 stereo tracks in total to take you right back to the last century!
Not only do you hear the sounds but you will see the trains too! All were filmed pre-1997. Take a listen (and a look) at our preview, it shows just ONE of the 67 tracks.
All this can be downloaded immediately for just a fiver! We even offer you your money back if you don’t like it.
No commentary, just captions showing locations and year each track was filmed. 100% in stereo.
Please note: we have released a cut-down version of Tracks on our Golden Valley Driver’s eye view (but only 30 minutes worth) and two tracks are on YouTube. The full version of Tracks runs for 65 minutes. Enjoy!
